We're always looking for ways to keep more money in your pocket and with growing costs due to tariffs and Etsy fees we've really had to up our prices recently! We didn't want to do that, but it was necessary. 

Additionally, I'm doing a trial of offering a few of our more expensive priced items at an "Exclusive Price". In the end the price is about the same as the 20% refund, but since Etsy has been targeting our more expensive items to advertise on our behalf, we've been getting hit hard with ad fees (those of you who are Etsy sellers know what I mean). Anyway, I'm hoping the 20% already discounted price will help draw people to where we pay Etsy less.... we'll see how that works! So for already reduced listings, you'll see the picture above on the listing along with the works "Exclusive Price"; these listings will already be presented at their absolute lowest price possible so no additional refund will be made. That doesn't mean you can't buy more than one item at both the exclusive price as well as those that will receive the 10% and 20% refund.

I admit that this announcement is really too soon since I need to split my inventory and create new
"exclusive" listings for the items I'm targeting. As a reference, you can view the difference between exclusive pricing and the pre-refund pricing as it is in the Olfa 10 pack of 45mm rotary cutting blades in the link above. Please note: the 10 pack of the 45mm Olfa blades I have in my inventory at the time of posting this are ones I got at a pretty good deal. Like $11 less than if I bought them today. So if you need that many Olfa 45mm blades, I'd jump on it :)

Clover's Takumi Combo Circular Knitting Needle Set #3683

This Takumi Combo Needle set is so nice!

I know, I know, all things yarn and tools to use yarn are great, but seriously, this is a great set! First off it comes in a zippered case that is padded synthetic leather and the zipper feels sturdy. I almost feel like an executive knitter about to create a masterpiece when I hold it and unzip it; it truly brings delight! 

Once unzipped, the case opens all the way to reveal TWELVE pairs of  perfectly crafted bamboo needle tips ranging from size 3 (3.25mm) to size 15 (10mm) held securely by individual elastic straps on one side and in a pouch on the opposite side you find 5 nylon cords in the popular sizes 16", 24", 29", 36" and 48". There's also an instruction booklet for use and care information. 

 

There's enough room inside the zipped case when closed to store a folded letter-size pattern print out and a small flat notions holder for your work in progress. To use them, simply select the needle size you need and screw it onto the cord taking care not to overtighten; there's an O-ring at the end of each needle tip to prevent it coming unscrewed while knitting. You can elect to put a needle on each end for a true circular  knitting needle or Clover makes stoppers which you can attach to one end for flat knitting. 

We also carry both the
Cord Connectors #3650 and the Cord Stoppers #3651 which are sold separately and not included in the set. Also, if you loose or break an interchangeable needle, we have individual sizes available.

We're excited to announce a new URL that is ALSO connected directly to our Etsy shop -- www.redrockyarns.com

It seems that www.yarnshop4u.com was causing confusion since it sounded too much like our regular Etsy shop which is www.yarnshop4u.ETSY.com Anyway, we decided to add another URL which is totally different to reduce confusion. 

We've been up and running with a redirect from www.redrockyarns.com to our 10% refund selling venue for a little over a week and so far so good. If you are used to going to the 10% shop through www.yarnshop4u.com, that still works as well. 

We're always happy to answer any questions regarding how to get to the 10% refund shop and how it works and we hope now it's just a little less confusing with a different name associated with it.
