We're Moving!

We don't have a specific date set yet, but we're moving late spring of 2024 from Detroit, MI to Sedona, AZ! We'll be restocking inventory over the next couple months still, but reducing the quantities. Right now and over the next few months, we'll have some additional items on sale. Watch for sales on items like Lily cones and Bernat Softee Chunky; we're focusing on reducing inventory of larger size items before the big move. We'll be closed for roughly 2 weeks while we pack up, move and unpack.

All inventory we have is shared between RedRockYarns and YarnShop4U and all powered by Etsy. When you shop at we will refund you 10% of the total item price paid (including sale items).

Clover's Takumi Combo Circular Knitting Needle Set #3683

This Takumi Combo Needle set is so nice!

I know, I know, all things yarn and tools to use yarn are great, but seriously, this is a great set! First off it comes in a zippered case that is padded synthetic leather and the zipper feels sturdy. I almost feel like an executive knitter about to create a masterpiece when I hold it and unzip it; it truly brings delight!

Clover Takumi Combo Set

Once unzipped, the case opens all the way to reveal TWELVE pairs of  perfectly crafted bamboo needle tips ranging from size 3 (3.25mm) to size 15 (10mm) held securely by individual elastic straps on one side and in a pouch on the opposite side you find 5 nylon cords in the popular sizes 16", 24", 29", 36" and 48". There's also an instruction booklet for use and care information.

There's enough room inside the zipped case when closed to store a folded letter-size pattern print out and a small flat notions holder for your work in progress. To use them, simply select the needle size you need and screw it onto the cord taking care not to overtighten; there's an O-ring at the end of each needle tip to prevent it coming unscrewed while knitting. You can elect to put a needle on each end for a true circular  knitting needle or Clover makes stoppers which you can attach to one end for flat knitting.

We also carry both the
Cord Connectors #3650 and the Cord Stoppers #3651 which are sold separately and not included in the set. Also, if you loose or break an interchangeable needle, we have individual sizes available.

All of these items are available through both of our Etsy channels, with the biggest savings at where we refund 10% on all items all the time and you don't have to wait for coupons!

We're excited to announce a new URL that is ALSO connected directly to our Etsy shop --

It seems that was causing confusion since it sounded too much like our regular Etsy shop which is Anyway, we decided to add another URL which is totally different to reduce confusion.

We've been up and running with a redirect from to our 10% refund selling venue for a little over a week and so far so good. If you are used to going to the 10% shop through, that still works as well.

We're always happy to answer any questions regarding how to get to the 10% refund shop and how it works and we hope now it's just a little less confusing with a different name associated with it.

Handicrafter Cotton New Colors

The manufacturer's of Bernat Handicrafter cotton yarn has added NINE new colors to their 12 and 14 ounce size Big Balls! Some of these colors are also available in the smaller Lily brand balls but this is very exciting for larger projects or if you want to make like 10 of the same dishcloths.

They are of course available for sale in both our regular Etsy shop and our 10% refund Etsy shop. The search links below will take you to either of those locations. Remember, when you shop at you'll also get a 10% refund off that listed price after you place your order.

Saturday, September 2, 2023 Starting Up!

History time! We've been thinking about introducing a different name to our online selling presence. There are 2 things we do, well, maybe more than just 2, but our biggest selling "strategies" is to 1) make it easy for us and 2) make it better for our buyers.

We've been making it easy for us by utilizing Etsy's lesser known "pattern" shop service in addition to our regular Etsy shop at; basically it's still Etsy, but they flip your listings and layout around to make it "feel" like you have your own stand alone website but it's a program that Etsy seems to have pretty much let go without putting any effort to update how it works. Everyone wants the best cotton yarn for instance for the cheapest price and while we keep our prices pretty competitive we do have to pay Etsy to sell in their mega shop with all the other sellers, which is fine and they do a fine job advertising for us. Like everything though, advertising comes with a price and it's a pretty high price so thinking outside the box, led us to see if we can make this weird and forgotten Etsy thing they call "Pattern" to work not only for us, but for our buyers. Since there truly isn't much to get a "pattern" shop up and running other than $15 per month, we figured we give it a try and while we were at it we bought the domain name so when you type that in a browser, it directed you to our Etsy "pattern" shop.

So, fast forward to YOU, the potential buyer. You want great stuff, fast and at a good price! With the pricing structure of Etsy "pattern" location, we crunched some numbers and figured out we could help not only some of our fellow Etsy shop owners get better deals on raw materials, but the everyday knitters, felters, crocheters, tatters, and tiny crochet thread users along with avid notion collector, crochet hook and knitting needle collectors by offering a 10% refund when they buy through which we linked to this Etsy service that isn't going to cost us as much to use.

This was working out great, BUT there was one major flaw! The confusion between and which was a real bummer when someone thought they would get 10% back but shopped at regular Etsy where we just really can't afford to do the 10% since essentially Etsy gets it in the form of advertising fees we pay them.

We were thinking about it for a while and finally put a new name into action starting September 2023 with the introduction of which we are hoping will lessen the confusion! At the time of writing this, I am working on changing over all of the printed material and as Dave likes to say "putting the pink dots on everything".

Both sites, and will go directly to Etsy's "pattern" location which technically is under the URL and hopefully there will be less confusion at After this last sentence, I'm sure you are feeling confused as were many people outside the inner workings of Etsyland.

So alas, is the NEW way to get to our shop where we do the 10% refunds :)
